F-16 Fighter Jets – Elephant Walk

F-16 fighter jets form an “Elephant Walk” at Kunsan Air Base in South Korea on December 18, 2012. Elephant Walk is a term coined by the U.S. Air Force to describe close formation taxiing of aircraft before takeoff. The term originated during WWII when large fleets of allied bombers would conduct attack missions with thousands of aircraft.
