A close-up look at the Northrop Grumman RQ-4 Global Hawk, an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) used for surveillance. Using sophisticated radar and optics, the Global Hawk can fly above 68,000 feet and provide high resolution imagery to ground personnel for situational awareness, targeting, and bomb damage assessment. It can operate for more than 40 hours, day or night in any weather.
